OBAMA CUP IS A RE-CONFIRMED FRAUD

I have decided not to write too long grammar today but assert that the Obama Cup is a big fraud. Please read from the sources yourself. The Nigerian FA is just a bundle of people who are either confused or gave jobs of organizing matches in the USA to people who do not understand the orderly way that things are done there. Please read:
From Mexico FA website: http://www.femexfut.org.mx/portalv2/asp ... Ntca=31352 wrote about the Obama Cup:  "Because the organization of the Cup Obama did not meet the agreed terms and conditions, U-20 national team canceled its participation in the Obama Cup of Dallas, Texas.
Therefore, the selection directed by Juan Carlos Chavez broke concentration and return to the activity from 27 February to 2 March. Later, they will have four days off and focus from 6 March."
This is the link to Ticketmaster, http://www.ticketmaster.com/ the ticketing they claimed won't print tickets on time... How could they, when it's a last notice. I don't blame them and also they are trying to avoid any liable suits that may come in case the games don't take place. Ticketing issues are very delicate and complex here in the States and they have to walk a fine line. Also, how could they print tickets when the stadium has not been secured yet.
From Panama FA website: http://www.fepafut.com/noticias_detail.asp?id=2167 wrote: "The FEPAFUT reports that the organizers of the Presidents Cup tournament scheduled to be held on 26 and 27 February 2011b in Dallas, with the participation of the U-20 from MEXICO, NIGERIA, PANAMA COSTA RICA and was suspended by the organizers, giving as because of lack of time to print tickets to the games by TICKETMASTER, and instead have sought to delay it for participants 12 and 13 March.
FEPAFUT For its part, announced that having received the tickets for the trip is on the expectation of completing the tournament as part of the preparation of the U-20 ahead of their commitment to the Tournament U-20 CONCACAF held in Guatemala City from 28 March next year, delivering four seats to the World Championship Under-20 World Cup to be held in Colombia in July and August this year."

ANOTHER DISMISSED CANDIDATE IN THE NFF BOARD

...harbours another dismissed member again

Controversy seems to be the middle name of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) headed by Alhaji Aminu Maigari as our month long checks has finally revealed that one of the members was dismissed from the civil service in similar circumstances like that of Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi.
It would be recalled that Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi was also a dismissed public officer under the regime of Colonel Ahmed Usman, the former military administrator of Oyo State, who personally signed his dismissal for financial maladministration. It was after this dismissal that he served a four-year tenure as Secretary General and another four year tenure as a member of the board.
In saner climes, the office of the Attorney general of the Federation (AGF) would have started prosecution to recover such public funds expended on his decision not to fully and truthfully disclose that he was a dismissed officer.
There is a sitting member of the Maigari board of the NFF that is a dismissed public officer. Efforts are ongoing to see the forms the alleged officer filled in the bid to get to the board to see if truly he too did not disclose his status and that will amount to a crime.
Contacted for comments, Barrister Deji Gbadeyan (mni) said, “given the non disclosure of his dismissal status at the time of contesting for the office, he is deficient ab initio and is not qualified to hold office. All allowances, salaries and emoluments so paid to him as a result is paid in error and should be returned to the public till. A crime is deemed to have been committed.”
In view of the above, the dismissed public officer presently sits on the board of NFF as against the provisions of the Statutes governing the game both in the country, CAF and FIFA which provides that anybody who is bankrupt or dismissed or convicted by a court of law is not qualified to run for the election, then, this member is corruptly sitting on the board.
It provides that every decision he would have participated in is tainted. Watch out for the ground breaking details of how he was dismissed, who the person is, where he was dismissed, his offence and other issues. It is a must read you can’t afford to miss.

BETWEEN MAIGARI AND JALLA, WHO LOVES FOOTBALL MORE?

Maigari (l) and Jalla (r)...compare and contrast
I have read and carefully followed the series of efforts launched by the administrators of football in Nigeria (they never played the game) against the age long entry of former players of the game, especially those who played in the national teams and in the professional ranks either at home or abroad;
Some years on, unlike a cross section of ex-players who throng the Glass House begging for coaching crumbs, Sunday Oliseh, another graduate who played football emerged. He was quickly nibbed in the bud as a “bad boy”. Thence, cometh one Harrison Jalla who championed a players’ union, the National Association of Nigerian Footballers (NANF).
Sani Abdullahi Lulu, while he held sway as President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), sensing those he allegedly called “impostors” quickly designed a media never to allow them have a united voice in matters of football in the country lest they will threaten and take over the reign. He used Dahiru Sadi and Austin Popo to splinter the group.
I remember as the Deputy Group Sports Editor of ThisDay newspaper how Jalla and Popo will bring press releases both to our Wharff Road office and in the National Stadium in Lagos. Popo and co were sponsored to leave the mother union and the splinter group was given official NFF stamp. Does that make the mother union illegal or less legal?

THE COURT ORDERS AND NANF: The moment NANF under the aegis and guidance of Harrison Jalla went to Federal High Court in Lagos, she filed a matter that spoke the minds of Nigerians who want football development here. The defendants submitted their jurisdictions to that court. The issue is, did they forget to contest the legality or otherwise of the NANF? Why suddenly waking up when NANF returned to fight the shade of rascality of the NFF to simple agreements midwived by Dr Amos Adamu in an Out-of-Court settlement. The NFF felt victorious and reneged on the terms.
NFF suddenly wrote FIFA complaining against FIFA. When FIFA replied they decided to broadcast the reply of FIFA showing that Jalla’s NANF is the original fake! Uhm!! Let the NFF show us what they have written to FIFA on NANF.

MAIGARI VS JALLA: to understand the background to this matter, remember that Lulu had sworn to some of his close pals that the ex-international players who he called “impostors” will never get to the board of the NFF last year August. With the likes of Christian Chukwu, Austin Okocha, Dominic Iorfa etc all failed. Chukwu tried again in the January 2011 elections and was edged out again.
Davidson Owumi having gotten the NPL was to be forced out “at all costs”. He had been forced out. There is another directive that he should be protested to FIFA to ban him for going to a civil court. The team to deliver the task is already working. So we expect FIFA to in a matter of days ban Owumi and thus, create a room for him not to contest his fairly won seat.
Visit the reasons for why and how Princess Bola Jegede and Aisha Falode were helped to “lose” the January election. The NFF committed fraud in the bid to make Ms. Dili Onyedinma to “win” the election.
The question: Jalla has only innocently fought the game that has brought him name and fame. All his activities were to promote the ideal and correct paths to manage the game in the country. Scan through all the issues between Jalla and the NFF again and see who is the true angel and who is the devil in these matters.

MY LETTER TO FIFA: I studied the situation on ground and felt it is better to document the issues as I believed them. I wrote FIFA complaining against the NFF and its threat to destroy Nigerian football. I copied the NFF and served them. I have heard all manners of propaganda planned against my person. I am not in hurry to run against them like some of my friends advised. I am waiting. I will be ready to make the petition available in the open public space in matters of hours.
Let it be known that sooner than later, football will breach the nation’s security and threaten the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the way they are going. Had they the option, all those who are making them not to have their ugly ways would have been sent to the Gulag Archipelago. Those who made peaceful change impossible in the old Russian and French Revolutions, like that of Tunisia and Egypt know that they have planted a whirlwind for violent change.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND NFF: It is time for the budget defence in the National Assembly. I hope the law makers won’t make the errors of appropriating funds from the tax payers’ commonwealth for the NFF? If they do, it will amount to aiding and abetting the pilferage of our monies.
Did the NFF say that the Nigerian government and her agencies cannot try her or even audit her except using FIFA laws. Let them hence go to FIFA for all their expenditures. How can our monies be allocated to the NFA and an unknown body to the Nigerian law, the NFF, be the one spending same? Is this not economic crime? More court cases may be on the way. At least, FIFA won’t ask us not to go to the court on this matter.

WHEN WILL HOSNI LEAVE THE GLASS HOUSE?

Our own Hosni and the call for change
Hosni is a new word in the lexicon to mean ‘when you tenure to leave office is up and you refuse to plan to retire until you are forced out’. Someone mistakenly squealed at the Old Parade Ground asking when our own Hosni will leave the Glass House. The person actually asked pointedly, “when is your friend the headmaster leaving the Glass House?”
That was when it struck me that the buffs therein may not know, since they do not keep records that the tenure of the Headmaster in the Glass House in up. I also gathered that Mr. Musa Amodu (someone also lied to me that he is a lawyer, is it true?) had been lobbying seriously to retain the job. Ask, do we need him? I will answer the question.
He is supposed to have proceeded on terminal leave since January 2011. That means he has no plans to leave until he is forced out. Is he sitting tight? Are the NFF people making plans to seek and replace him with a most needed quality candidate?

IT’S A SOUTH WEST AFFAIR:
Let me also add, given the current headship of the board, Aminu Maigari is from Bauchi (North East), his deputy, Mike Umeh is South East. By the zoning style in the football house, the seat should go to a candidate from the South West. So Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos and Ekiti brace up.
I also heard that Mr Maigari had planned to compensate his friend, Charles Ojugbana with the position. He can like Dili Onyedinma, who is from the South East but suddenly became a North Central by modulating this fact as published by the same agency less than a week interval. Ojugbana had lived all his life in Lagos and so can claim South West. Ojugbana deserves the seat and is eminently qualified for it because he stood and sat by Maigari during the days leading to his “selection” (you may elect to remove the “s” to get what I should mean).
I also do know that the group that produced Maigari promised Bukola Olapade of Ogun State to step down for Maigari, which he did. He is also very qualified and eminently sound to make a new beginning.

PATRICK OKPOMO:
Can a quick search be done and a candidate whose name should bring absolute confidence, an experienced football administrator, a deep knowledged person be gotten. We honestly do not want a new village headmaster like my friend the barrister. We want someone whose experience will make up for the very obvious inadequacies in the current board.
The Secretary General must be in the clime and mould of Patrick Okpomo. As the Chief Executive of the NFA his experience should initiate spontaneous applause, whose wealth and experience in the game will guide the wavering board to its core duties, relocate football development, bring new structures to the secretariat and professionalise the system of administration.
We don’t want a secretary general who will get missing and leave the board, not an Executive board, to go wry and astray delving into regions where their knowledge is limited and should not be professional.

MY FEARS AGAIN:
Can we get it right again? Here we have another opportunity presenting itself to us again. Where are the men of God to start praying for God to guide our football leaders aright. Professor Adedoja, can you do the superintending of this move well? Two good days of brainstorming will give us result. This is a matter of National Interest. It has never been left in the hands of the NFA anytime past to decide.
Like Lagos football fans, do we cheer you or boo you after this task must have been concluded. This week is and should be the deadline. By now, the new Secretary General should have been in place. Don’t let the Hosni Mubarak syndrome catch up with you!

WOE UNTO THE STATESMAN

Owumi...one at war already
Please do not ask me who is a statesman in Nigerian sports. If there are any, then, woe unto them. Where are they? Our sports is dying. Its bleeding profusely to death. The cheaters are enjoying the present state of confusion from where they are feeding fat. No wonder I called the greatest of such decoy the Nigerians Feeding on Football (NFF). Has my coination become true?
FACT ONE: I better state the fact now that no one can possibly live life today without being a cheat but the ultimate seems is, do not be held or caught as a cheat. The NFF is definitely now a cheat with the way and manner they went about the elections of the three leagues (Women, Amateur and National). No wonder Emeka Inyama says I won’t concede. Ask, the greatest story of the cheating is that of Ms. Dili Onyedinma.
FACT TWO: Passionate patriots and lovers of things of life: women, wine, war or and football, will agree with me that there is a new madness in our football. I presage and quickly that it is only blood and iron will this war be settled. The losers: football.
I will also say and assert that the many generals, kings and princes of our football today are surely not ready for this war of salvation. Many are so poor both materially and intellectually to go into such wars so they are ready and willing for the crumbs of the table of our common enemy- a disastrous result for the future.
The option not to go to war is peace. There can be no peace in our football. The number and quality of those who have signed and have entered the war is increasing. Adokie Amasiemaka had been in war, his words on the marble of the The Punch newspaper is clear. He made the war irrevocable with his well researched expose of cheating in the Glass House with the Fortune Chukwudi age scandal. Chief Patrick Olusegun Odegbami is already at war. Many saw in him a desperate person whereas, he is a patriot seeing what many ordinary followers of the game cannot see.
Harrison Jalla went to war and was lured out with an Out-of-Court settlement gambit. Some of us encouraged him. He saw the lack of sincerity in his adversaries. He went back to war.
Davidson Owumi is presently at war for being denied a legitimate election he won fair and square.
Emeka Inyama believed in the system. Followed its rules and was to be stabbed in the rib section and volunteered to go to war. Can he enter the war?
Aisha Falode went in like Emeka Inyama. She did not see the handwriting of the godfathers. She was shortchanged and pronto! She picked her gauntlet to fight. Can she end up in war?
WARFARING AS A GLORIOUS BUSINESS: There is no doubting the fact that warfaring is a glorious business. The greatest questions of all times are always decided not by speeches, writings, nor by Out-of-court settlements and resolutions but by iron and blood.
