The Solicitor General advised stricta that by the existing laws of the land, the NFA Act is still the operative law in football. The NFF, as far his office is concerned is not registered even in the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and even if it is, in the matter of conflict anywhere, the Act of Parliament would have taken precedence.
In view of the foregoing, the NSC was advised not to recognise the NFF, to forthwith withdraw all official accordance involving the coat of arms, Appropriation from the National Assembly, official car including properties of government like the Glass House.
Some legal practitioners that were contacted who would only spare comments on anonymity said, "it was brilliant to have sought the advise of the solicitor general. With the advise, it would be criminal if they hence from when the advise was gotten, for the NFF members to so represent football in Nigeria anywhere in the world including FIFA." Another said, "please advise them to beat a tactical withdrawal if what you have presented is the true position of things. It is finished."

*Organisation, Argentine friendly blamed for Ethiopia result

* Don’t blame Siasia, hold NFF management responsible
NFA chairman Jarret Tenebe, has blamed the lack of player management and understanding of match preparations inmodern football for the draw the nation played against Ethiopia last weekend in Addis Ababa, saying the team arriving the venue on the day of the match and playing in a different altitude are wrong organisational decisions.
He spoke to a battery of reporters in Abuja where he said, "I am confident that the Super Eagles will still qualify for the 2012 African Nations Cup despite the 2-2 draw against Ethiopia but the organizational functions of the Football Association has to improve drastically in a supportive manner like modern national teams do.”
According to the factional chairman of the football body, “why blame Siasia? What is the quality of organizational savvy did the staff of the FA bring into the Ethiopia game? Are they not aware of the fact that their host’s are in a high altitude? Are they so naïve to know the players will suffer jet lag resulting from the long trip arriving the morning of playing the game. Candidly, the players tried securing a draw in view of the following circumstances.”
The NFA chairman also welcomed the Chairman of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Davidson Owumi who resumed work in accordance with the decision of his board meeting which nullified the decisions of the Uyo General Assembly.
