All African Games: How AFN plans to embarrass Nigeria

NSC DG, Dr Ekeji...will AFN spoil his efforts?
*Picks non coaches to train Team Nigeria
*Gender insensitivity demonstrated
*Whims used to select team

How on earth will 14 persons fraudulently tagged as 'coaches' take Nigeria to the All African games if it is not for jamboree?
A peep through the list has shown categorically clear that it is either the AFN does not understand their beats or they are confused. Many of those brought to tinker the Nigerian team have never coached in their lives. Where has Gabrial Opuana, Sunday Bada or the others on the list there with the exception of Harrison Momah (who was my own coach) is a trained coach?
Yes, they ran the tracks abroad but many of them are not even graduates. If they claim to have the requisite qualification, what did they read? So one wonders how the AFN arrived at the rationale of the list. The placement of the coaches also showed that 'Basket Mouth' the comedian may have drawn up the list.
Of the 14 'coaches' it is so sad and ironic that there is no female yet the list of athletes showed the presence of more women than men! Haba?
How on earth did they arrive with coaches for short sprints, long sprints and relays? This is a clear admittance that they do not understand how these things are done.
Even the choice of the athletes is sincerely not on merit. It is the whims and caprices of a single powerful individual.
A particular case will suffice. Ann Nwogu, a 400m hurdler was on an initial list. She is not on the new list. When question was asked, I gathered "she was dropped because she was disobedient"m
The young lass was third at the National Athletics championships in Calabar. Won gold at the National Sports Festival in Port-Harcourt. Was dropped from the AAG's list because she disobeyed AFN president by not going to the world youth championship which would have denied Rivers State the gold and increase the chances of his own Delta State. Uhn!
Did the compiler and his/her supervisors understand the meaning of the word PROBATION? They left some athletes on "probation". I am sure that they do not know the meaning. If I have any such labelled athlete, I will sue them because probation has to do with criminality and a suspended over sight by law enforcement agencies.
I predict a bountiful disgrace for Nigeria at the All African Games. Mark my words. It will, as it is usual, come to pass that I said that they will disgrace Nigeria. Remember, I predicted the drug infection of the Commonwealth Games in India. Did it not come to pass? This will. It is the NSC that will bereceiving the brunt of these "unscientific" choices made.
Abeg, siddon look!

Musa Amadu is a terrible liar
*Never swore to any new oath

I went to the Federal High Court in Lagos where acting Secretary General of the embattled NFF, Mr.Musa Amadu, claimed recently that he had gone to swear to a new affidavit on the current crisis in a bid to correct the averments of the one the interimboard of the NFA,led by Jarret Tenebe, is parading.
None of the court rooms had the said affidavit, a public document. If this is true, then, Mr. Musa Amadu is just a terrible liar. He lied to the Nigeria public and that is unfortunate.
Amadu whose current tenure lapses on the 12th July, 2011 may have deceived the nation that he has sworn to a new affidavit to enable him secure a new four-year term as secretary general.
If Amadu did swear to a new affidavit as he claimed why is it no media organisation published it? Why did no one can claim to have seen it? Why did none of the registries or Commissioner for Oaths of the Federal High Court are not aware or have the copies.

TOMMORROW:
How the integrity of chief Akin Olujimi (SAN) & Co, the former Attorney General of the Federation was called to question for parading 'fake' court papers. It is detailed and incisive. Watch out here.
