Why Nigeria needs to go to hell‏

Yusuf Suleiman, will the cookie crumble on his head?

How does the head of the people in the Aminu Maigari-led board of Nigerians Feeding on Football (NFF) also otherwise called Nigeria Football Federation think? They might go to hell owing to the high quality of injustice, cultural decay and political paralysis therein.
One thought that with the judgment of the Federal High Court ordering a fresh election in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) and with Davidson Owumi bent on appeal and who was pleaded with to leave the appeal so as to allow football to go on, which was a second opportunity for the NFF after quashing the earlier opportunity.
Alas! The goons in the Glass House decided to run their own script. They flew a first kite saying if the NPL does not hold the election within a particular date, the NFF will conduct the election. They ran their script and made the NPL Electoral Committee to impeach its chairman, Tony Rafua, after disqualifying Davidson Owumi. Rafua was replaced with the clubless troika: Oladimeji Thompson, sports minister's elder brother, Muazu Suleiman and one other.
So, the League will have a half-baked chairman with a credential that is empty like a bran and a militant. Who weeps for Nigerian football? This certainly is the end.
Yusuf Suleiman's reconciliation committee headed by General Dominic Oneya is shot by the foot. This script must have been well orchestrated to re-impose the utterly illegal board led by Aminu Maigari on Nigeria and Nigerians. Their scorn? You can go to hell all of you!
These issues are clear. Its not about the person of Davidson Owumi who the goons in the NFF don't want to see but about what is fair and just. The 'jankara' media of this hijack looks every inch like a motor park tout economics and reasoning.
Assuming the Maigari men have their way as it has almost become usual, they supplant Baribote. Which of them beyond Deji Tinubu has a credential that can sell Nigerian football?
Is it the dismissed magistrate which they proudly address as a "Barrister"? Or who? No wonder the quality of planlessness that comes forth from the Glass House where part timers have become full time employees? Or a fraudulent hotelier who had a contract to buy new buses for the national team who bought "tokunbo"?
The battle has just started while we prepare for hell. This is the end of Act 1 scene 6; welcome to Act 2 scene 2.Please siddon look. Its a revealing and unfolding tragi-comedy.

Solomon Ogba’s World Athletics score card. Omen of Maputo?
Ogba, evangelising clear failure
The 13th World Championships in Athletics holding in Daegu, South Korea has further shown the lack of depth, talent and management. With the needless controversy on two of her athletes prior to the event ongoing presently. With her 14 athletes, the nation drew blanks. No even wood medal. What miracles are we expecting from them in Maputo? I foresee Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya and even Senegal dusting us on the athletics medals' table.
100metres: Peter Emelieze dropped out in the heat with a poor timing of 10.58secswhile Ogho-Oghene Egwerodropped out in heat two with a pedestrian time of 10.57 secs. These duo are expected to beat Zimbabwe’s Ngonidzashe Makusha who has a 10.31secs or Cote d’ivoire’s Ben Youssef Meité who had 10.45 secs. These Africans in the same world championships returned better timing to Nigeria’s representatives.
It is so sad that there is no Nigerian in the 100m, 400m women event. Whereas, the hyped Blessing Okagbare returned a very weak distance of 6.36m in the long jump. Is she not expected to  return the gold medal in this event in Maputo?

  4. Sir, you've said it all. Those evil genuises in Nigerian football who do not want our league to grow by disqualifying that man of vision "Davidson Owumi" are those illiterates in the NFF. Probably because Owumi is a graduate andthose ofthem who are graduates have loads of troubles around their neck.
"Oh Lord save Nigerian football from those evil geniuses" amen.
