*To appear in Sokoto High Court for money laundering

Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of the Vice President of the
Nigerian Football Federation, (NFF) Cheif Mike Umeh.
In a brief statement

27th May, 2013 he said Umeh was picked up by operatives of the Commission today in Lagos following a warrant by a Sokoto High Court.

He will tomorrow, 28th
May, 2013 appear before Justice Bello Abass of the Sokoto High Court.
He further explained
that, “Umeh is an accomplice in the case of money laundering and
misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N15billion for which former
Governor Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State is standing trial.”
