NFF has planned for me to be killed -Jalla

M. D. Abubakar, IG of Police...his men paid to kill Jalla?

*Police is subverting court orders
For standing up against the inadequacies of Nigerian football in a non-violent way using the court and other legitimate media, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Footballers (NANF), Harrison Jalla has sent out a message that his adversaries, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has paid the Nigerian Police for him to be killed.
Speaking through his Counsel, Barrister Belo Aideloje in an exclusive interview with www.gongnews.net, “my client has been seriously dehumanized by the Police agents who has been seriously induced to traduce my client, break his spirit and cause a fatal blow to lead to his death in a short while.”
If anything happens to Harrison Jalla who has been held under terrible conditions in Police detention since 28th December 2012 without being charged to court, Nigerians should know where the entire scheme has been weaved from.”
According to a very obviously angry Aideloje, “It is now very clear that there is a plot by all the operators of the NFF and NPL to use the already spiked and rotten police to keep one of the very principled persons and organizations forever silent”.
Mr Harrison Jalla kept on telling me on the 28th December that they want to kill him. For two weeks now he has been subjected to all sorts of oppression and incarceration against all known Constitutional decency.
Belo Aideloje added, “We did not drive out military dictatorship out of Nigeria to earn gestapo rule. Even the 48 hours rule after the transfer of my client from Abuja to Lagos is now in arrears. No this must stop now. This is rascally. How can this be a setting in a democratic Nigeria?
“There are clear court orders given for him not to be arrested, invited for chat, detained by the Police yet they went on in a manner that says: ‘to hell with the judiciary’ and held our client for more than two weeks. Has he committed murder? Or has he committed treason? The Police kept him to justify the monies they have collected from the NFF goons. It is sad that the police is now an instrument of oppression in a democratic Nigeria.”

  1. Very unfortunate that anybody with money can use the police to do anything good or bad in this country. Watch it I hope Jalla will not be poison and release from the police custody only to go and die at home, some of us are not unaware of their modus operandum when it comes to assasination. Its high time the security agencies put a stop to all forms of indiscriminate arrest and detension as these are the things that breed act of terrorism in our society, greviencies here and there and these must stop now!!!
