DID NFF WORKED AGAINST GOODLUCK JONATHAN DURING ELECTION?

Maigari...these accusations, laughing matters

Waking up lazily after a very long day’s job, it was Mitchel Obi on AIT who sneaked the report jocularly. As I switched on my phone, 38 e-mails rushed in. one struck me hard by the subject. I scrambled into it and it was this press release copied a few sports journalists and media organisations.
It was by the Nigerian Football Vanguard whose Oluwatimilehin Omotayo as the national president and Emeka Obi-Okpara as the national secretary asserted, “we,  the good people of Nigeria, the original proprietors of Nigerian football, and the electors of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, do wish to thank all Nigerians who worked in faith and voted him into office.
The rustling starts: “We are forced to disclose today to the people and governments of Nigeria that the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) under the aegis of Alhaji AMinu Maigari did not work for the President.
The accusation is pointed: “They were known to have worked assiduously for the presidential candidate of the Congress of Progressive Change (CPC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd). That is why they specially invited him as special guest at the Nigeria-Ethiopia match in the National Stadium in Abuja to shore up support of the massive football followers against the interest of the PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan.” Questions. Questions. Questions.
Daringly, the vanguard punched, “We challenge them to come out and deny these claims and facts. We have other evidences to support our claims which we are ready to make public at the appropriate time. We are shocked to ask, how can a pseudo-government agency use its offices against a sitting government?
Now that President Goodluck Jonathan has won the elections, should that board continue to stay in office? They should all resign. We do not have confidence in them. In the interim, Nigerians should await further releases on what we know about this unprogressive cabinet.”
I comment my reserve for now.

    This report is true. The NFF lawyer and Chairman of their electoral commission, Abdulhakim U. Mustapha, is the counsel to Nasir el-Rufai, a key CPC strategist. He joined in the operation of the political machinery of the CPC against President Goodluck Jonathan.

    This is not only TOTAL FABRICATION, it is absolute bunkum. It is the Harrison Jalla/Gara Gombe group still fabricating things in their vain effort to whip up silly sentiments.

    This is incredible. NOBODY invited Buhari, should I need to make that clarification, and we DID NOT even recognize his presence on the day.

    These fellows should come out with something else.

    Absolute nonsense.

    Mr Fred, I thought you had a good command of simple tenses and English. That is your personal deficiency and I pity you because you showed you had wasted your parents' money thinking you went to school;
    Two, did you do any sport at all? Why are you crying more than the bereaved? The same right you have to express you views is what others too have to express their positions. You do not have a monopoly of telling people not to pursue their believes.
    Three, if I lied, you should come forth and say what is the otherside of the lies i tell you on TV.
    Illiterates like you do not know that a sports journalist can cover events of his choice. Because I played handball at national team and professional levels does not mean I cannot report some other sports.
    So those who did not do any sport at all cannot report any sport of their choice. See your foolery. No wonder you are such a bloody coward you cannot disclose your full identity.
    Waiting for your dirty mouth here or else where.
